Stephanie (Nick’s little sis) and Deric tied the knot in Ventura, CA last weekend in a beautiful and intimate ceremony at Serra Cross Park overlooking the beach. Since we did their engagement photos last year at the W Hotel and Vermillion in the D.C. area, they have made Los Angeles home and make frequent visits to Ventura to see family. We love returning to Nick’s hometown and took advantage of the gorgeous weather, iconic beachscapes, and classic City Hall reception for some great photos with this stunning bride and groom. Steph and Deric poured thought and attention into every detail of the day–from the ceremony officiated by Deric’s dad, to the Korean taco food truck and mini donuts (a major hit of the evening!), to the thoughtful parting gifts and speeches, they had a personal and enjoyable experience for everyone. And we haven’t seen a dance floor this crazy in awhile!
The very highest points of our career are when family (and friends who are like family) trust us to artfully document their most precious memories. Spending the time making these images with Stephanie and Deric brought us so much joy—we couldn’t imagine participating in any other way. We love these photos and are so happy to welcome Deric to the family 🙂
