What is a mini-session?
This year we are doing TWO types of mini-sessions:

2. Our BEACH mini-sessions will be at sunset, on weekdays, November 13-17 at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
Both options are $199 until November 1st. After Nov. 1, the price will be $249. Back-to-back sessions with many families is what makes this half-price session possible, so we can only offer this deal for the time slots available and until they fully book up. For humans with short attention spans (usually children and husbands), a 20 minute session is perfect. Don’t miss the best Fort Lauderdale holiday mini session of 2023.

We are in Suite 1 and you’ll see the Donner Photos sign on the door! There is a parking lot right next to our front door.
The beach lot is near El Prado Park: 4500 El Mar Drive in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea
When and how do I pay?
The session signups will be available until November 10th at 4:59PM at the link above and payment can be made by credit card at the time of sign-up. If you are unable to use a credit card or prefer to arrange another payment method (cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, etc) please contact us by phone or email.
Who is taking our photos?
We have two photographers (Nick and Erin) available to take photos for the day. Our supervisors, Brooklyn and Reyna will also be dropping in.
What if I’m late or end up needing to change my session time?
Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled start time to ensure we can say hello and get started on time. If you are running late or know you need to change your session time in advance, we will do our best to accommodate without pushing anyone else’s start times. If the schedule does not allow, the session fee is non-refundable and we will use whatever time is left in your session to take photos.
What should I bring?
Bring your self and family members, and perhaps a few snacks or fun props you’d like to include. Pets are welcome.
What if I need to cancel?
Your session fee reserves your time slot during the mini session week and makes it unavailable to other families. Therefore, we cannot refund session fees that have been canceled. If you are able to substitute another family for your time slot, we can always transfer your spot to them. If your reason for cancelation is a sickness in the family, we will do our best to schedule a time for you to get photos together when you are feeling better.
Can you help me with Holiday cards?
Yes! When you come in for your mini-session, we will have some samples for you to take a look at and the option to pre-pay for your holiday cards. For just $499 per 100 cards (sold in increments of 5) we will take your Excel formatted address list and:
1. Design your card with your new photos
2. Address each envelope
3. Affix standard US postage
We can either mail them for you or deliver them to you, for you to write your own personal note on each card, seal, and drop off with USPS.
