This was our first time to Oatlands Plantation and we enjoyed our time here. The house was built in 1804 and has beautiful gardens surrounding it. And the property has lots of old, giant trees. There’s something awesome about walking under those old trees for me, thinking about the history that they have seen. I photographed the Riksen’s wedding a few years back and it’s a privilege to continue photographing them as their family grows.
