Brynn and Jed’s wedding day was by all accounts a classy affair. After their summer engagement session in DC they decided on a late fall wedding in Brynn’s hometown, complete with Christmas decorations at the Wisconsin City Club, dazzling gold details in the ballroom by Bloom Floral and Event Design, entertainment by Velocity, and an incredible sparkly donut bar by Cranky Al’s Donuts. Everyone was having a great time and looked fantastic. But Brynn and Jed also thought out every moment they and their guests would experience that weekend. The meaningful touches they put into place throughout the day did not go unnoticed. Among many gifts given out that weekend, Jed had a special book made about all the reasons he loves Brynn with stick figure drawings to illustrate his points. He definitely made her cry. They combined some of their customs, like getting married in Brynn’s childhood church by Jed’s hometown reverend. Brynn ensured their guests would have the Wisconsin experience with Spotted Cow beer and cheese curds while Jed managed to sneak some Gamecocks stickers onto the dance floor. Most of all, they just enjoyed every moment of the day without a worry in the world. The night ended with a whole lotta dancing and a giant splash of confetti at midnight.
This wedding was a unique experience for us because I (Erin) was a bridesmaid participating in all of the fun activities I’m usually photographing (though I couldn’t keep myself from assisting on a few shots) and Nick took on the job of photographing our beautiful friends. It was an incredibly special moment for me to see my sweet husband capturing all the wonderful moments of Brynn and Jed’s weekend. Brynn and I have experienced it all together, and I’m so grateful we are and will continue to be a part of her and Jed’s story. I love how these photos capture their funny, charming, magnetic personalities. Congrats, B&J!
