I remember my senior portraits. I was in a small grassy field behind a busy road in Charlotte, North Carolina. We got a few good ones, but I’m pretty sure I was hugging a tree in one of them! It was fun applying our editorial portraiture approach to Seth’s senior session. He wanted a few photos with his saxophone and a few on his own and I wanted to make sure he looked cool. So we decided on some classic DC monuments to ensure a timeless look. Seth was a good sport and let me try a few new setups around the sax. My favorite moment was towards the end of our session overlooking the Potomac. We were getting some cool silhouettes as the rowing teams went by!
