We absolutely love photographing our friends’ weddings because we know they are going to get great photos and enjoy the experience in the process–even on a rainy day! Iris was one of my first friends in DC, so she is very special to us, and I might have shed a tear or two watching her marry her best friend. Iris and James were so laid back throughout the day and enjoyed every moment. After their gorgeous ceremony at Clarendon United Methodist church and carriage ride (SO Central Park), we still managed to get some great views of the monuments from the Netherlands Carillon and stay mostly dry. Even their dog Rory made an appearance in his tuxedo! After photos, we headed to the Key Bridge Marriott in Rosslyn. The views of the city were breathtaking and we enjoyed delicious brunch food and mimosas, some dancing and toasts. It’s truly a blessing to see your friends find their better halves and we loved being a part of their special day!
