Proposals are an excellent example of why it’s important to hire someone with experience when you’re trying to capture this pivotal moment. When Anthony and I met months ago to find the perfect spot for him to propose to Dana, he had some wonderful surprises in mind to pull off–and together we came up with a plan to do just that!
We found a gorgeous spot on the beach away from the crowds that would give us a water view, and was a beautiful shot even with all the sea turtle nests set up for the season. After an endearing proposal captured by Nick and I, we took some portraits along the way back in some carefully chosen spots. We knew Dana loved palm trees and sunset colors and we might have gotten the dreamiest purple sky ever.
After photos, surprise number two was in place thanks to the hard work of their family. Everyone was waiting around the bend as they walked back towards Lago Mar Beach Resort and Club where they would be staying! Dana was totally surprised and we had a wonderful time capturing such a special evening.
